If you are up for some adventure and need a break from your life routine, you might be thinking of having a vacation someplace exotic. And what is more exotic than a holiday spent in the Caribbean islands!

In the many lovely island destinations in the Caribbean, Aruba is by far one of the favorite on many people's list. Some say it is the rustling palms that soothe them as they walk on the moonlit beaches and some say it is the fantastic delights of the oceans.

You can get the most perfect tanning weather conditions in Aruba and the white sandy beaches are a scenic haven that can take you away from the troubles of the world. In Aruba you can enjoy a lovely romantic meal out in the middle of the aquamarine waters in an adventurous catamaran ride. The beaches are lot with immense and beautiful moonlight in the night time that can be a great place to enjoy a candle lit dinner with a guest of your choice.

The signature sport of Aruba is wind surfing since the weather of the island is perfect for the sport. The ideal offshore conditions and excellent weather provides for some amazing windsurfing fun. Whether you want to learn or polish your skills you can find the right opportunities to wind surf during your stay in Aruba. There is also the prestigious Hi-Winds event where professional wind surfers compete with one another. But if you are just a beginner you can get some proper learning lesions and the best training in Aruba. The best place to begin is the Vela Aruba whether you are professional or a beginner. This place is the largest wind surfing center in all of the Caribbean.

The night life is amazing with lively parties and great traditional music that will make for a wondrous finish of a perfect day spent having a cocktail on a pearly relaxing beach. You can also do some horse back riding in the day time and Aruba has the amazing hiking trails on what is termed as the 'tunnel of love' cave. The island tours are really fun and you don't want to miss those while you are in Aruba. When you begin making you travel plan also include insurance for the trip in case something goes wrong because a trip to the Caribbean can be pretty expensive.

Vutje, I'm not saying that you have a crime problem in Aruba. When I think about travelling to another country, the first thing I inquire about is the crime situation. Let me assure you that we have much more crime in the VI than you have in Aruba. Also, the Natalie Holloway episode didn't even cross my mind when I posted the response to the person. I'd even forgotten about that. Also, I never followed the story.

I'll buy another one if it's sold, vutje.

sarasmile, welcome to CC. Vutje will be able to help you on the crime situation in Aruba. You're asking about crime when you say 'a safe place', right.

What I'd like to do in Aruba is hit all the casinos, visit vutje's family and the house she grew up in.

I've been to Aruba in my first book.
