Aruba: Weddings

Weddings Fees:

• $20.00 minimum for Catholic wedding
• $100.00 Protestant wedding.

Requirements:

• 2 witnesses (if none, two will be provided)
• Register at the Civil Registry via mail or in person 14 days prior wedding date.

Wedding Types:

Religious: Some religion requires pre-marital counseling before the marriage, and arrangements made 4 months prior to the date. Documents must also be submitted in advance. Contact your desired religious denomination for further information.

Civil Documents Required:

• Copies of each birth certificate with a raised seal.
• Copy of divorced decree if divorced.
• Copy of death certificate if widowed
• Candidates along with their witnesses must have current passport with valid visas
• Proof from country of citizenship that either party are single and eligible to marry
• All documents are to be submitted to the Civil Town Hall at least one month before wedding date.
