The Battle of the Islands measures participation on the website. The more you participate, the more votes the flag you represent gets. So every time you post, or visit CaribbeanChoice logged in, or submit a recipe, you get votes for your flag. It is a good indicator of what countries are most active on the site.

*The term "countries" is defined loosely here. You can even chose a pirate flag if you want, just for fun.
