Just took my sweet bread out of the oven. It reminded me of home Barbados. Now I can mek de ting all de time. I never learned how to make it, just enjoyed. Now I gine and enjoy my sweet bread. Delicious. Thanks

Growing up my Grand mother catered for wedings and she made cakes, sweet bread, tarts, and many more delicious treats. I miss the taste of the real thing. I will like to have a little of my childhood again sitting on the front porche and eating the first slice of hot sweet bread coming out of the oven. those were the days.

Since i came to Canada fifteen ninteen years ago, i haven`t enjoy a piece of sweet bread. Although i`m orginally from Barbados, my son doesn`t like the West Indian foods. I finally took the recipe and made sweet bread on Monday 20th March, and i enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

I halved this recipe for my son's 6th grade tasting samples. It was easy to make, smelled wonderful and most of the kids liked it. Even some who don't like coconut.
