Dominica: Weddings

Wedding Fees:

• Registrars Office Wedding - $30.00 EC
• Outside Registrar's Office - $100.00 EC
• Marriage License - $300.00 EC
• Marital Status Declaration - $500.00 EC

(Marital Status Declaration can be obtained from any lawyer in Dominica.)

Requirements:

• Birth Certificate and proof of citizenship
• Legal visas where necessary
• Application form obtainable from the Ministry of Community Development
• Certified Divorced Decreed or Death Certificate where necessary
• Two witnesses must be present at the ceremony
• Statutory declaration of marital status must be obtained and sworn in Dominica in a lawyer’s presence
• Application for a marriage must be made two days prior to the wedding date.
