Hi guys! My name is Tiffany and I live in the Dominican Republic! I am from the States, but moved here a year ago! Just thought I would say hi!

Hi!  And welcome to CaribbeanChoice!

I bet it was a change moving from the states to the Dominican Republic.  How do you like it there?

It was a difference! I threw myself into a completely other culture, where all I knew what to say in the language was Hola!

It was crazy and difficult, But I absolutle love it! Its my new life!

Yes, that is a major transition!

I moved to Texas many many years ago and there is a very large Mexican and Hispanic population here.  I've picked up a little Spanish myself over the years from the local population.  I'm not fluent by a long shot, but I can order dinner in a Taqueria and hold a very small conversation.

I love exploring different cultures.  I think it's great that you are open to experiencing new things!

Yea, I have been here for only a short while and I can hold a good convo with people! I love exploring new places! When I turned 18, I decided to visit one country a year! I am doing good so far!

By the time I was 18, I had already been to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France, and Germany, so I am doing good :-D

Wow, that sounds neat.

I wish I would have thought of that idea when I was your age!

How many languages do you know?
