Topic: Looking for conc or conk Posted: 12 Oct 2004 at 2:36pm
Several years ago I read an article written by a guy that traveled the caribbean
looking for places that served "conc" or "conk". My wife and I are
vacationing in the caribbean in January and are interested in trying
conk. The article mentioned that the best place he found was a
restraunt that was in a junk yard. If you have any information
about this place or the food I mentioned, it would be most welcome.
You didn't state what island this restaurant is located? Yes, there are several recipes for conch or conch salad. It can be eated raw or in a recipe. It is part of the seafood family as oysters, clam, crabs, etc. (shellfish).
