Are people naturally good or bad? When they are born, do they start off good or bad, or are they an empty vessel waiting to be filled with goodness or badness?

I think, that it's difficult to say...but it is easy to reply....
everything in or on this world , or in our live goes by pair...
It is Yes or No....it is given and taken..I don't know exactly how to explained
But in this case it is...Naturally Good or it is Naturally Bad.....

I would not say I know 100%, but I would suspect that people are born as a blank slate in some ways, and are influenced by their environment. I do think that there is good and bad inside everyone, and even in the worst person, you can bring out the good, and vice versa.

sometimes by some bad people you can have some good inside them too YEPes,
but the bad side is so huge, that they can't see the good inside them.
And I think also, that good and bad people have a problem, that the good become a bad person and the bad become worsted then he/she was...just only by protest for something or to someone.

goodness and badness are moral issues that have to be thaught. In the upbringing theory, I am the follower of mixed theory - person is influenced by genetics and environment both.
to say it about mankind as whole, I would say - we are good. Why? Because majority of people doesn't make badness in general. E.g. you are in the public vehicle, sit next to young man and you trust him. You don't expect that he stabs you with a knife or steal you a bag etc. He even doesn't want to hurt you, to make you bad.

I think we all have the potential to rise to our greatest good or be very evil.
Religion has played a tremendous role in taming the beast in all of us.
Culture and environment do play a significant role in who we are as human beings.

I'd say some people start out good, but circumstances make them turn bad. People hurt them, their financial situation...
And then some people are just good all the way...no matter what situation occur in their lives, they stay on the straight and narrow...they do not see revenge, they forgive, they keep their happy attutide.
