Battle of the Islands III

A little friendly competition to see who can vote their flag to the top!

The new battle of the islands is designed to show who is the most active on CaribbeanChoice.

How to Earn Votes:

You can earn votes in a variety of way:

• Vote in the poll above (limit 1000 votes per month per person)
• Visit the forums daily.
• Visit the rest of the website daily.
• Posting on the forum.
• Adding events to our events calendar.
  
• Adding restaurants and businesses to our restaurant & business guide (coming soon!)
• Adding recipes to the recipe section (coming soon!)
• and more ways to come!

We were hoping to have the restaurant guide and add a recipe up by the 1st, but its not quite done.  Give us a few more days and those new ways to vote will be available.

we have missed you

I just wanted to let you know, we've found a bug in the voting system and are working on it. 

For some reason, not all votes are being counted for countries with an "&" in their name.  And the weird thing is sometimes the votes are being counted and sometimes they are not....

Since we keep a log of all point & vote related activities (just for cases like this!), we have determined that the following flags have been undercounted.  Luckily, because of the log, we can tell by how much.

Antigua & Barbuda - As of this post, there should be 65 votes, not 0.

St. Kitts & Nevis - As of this post, there should be 25 additional votes, making their total 60, not 35.

Trinidad & Tobago - As of this post, there should be 73 additional votes, making their total 276 instead of 203... which also puts them in 4th place.

The correct Top 5 as of this post should be:

1. Jamaica
2. Pirate Flag
3. St. Lucia
4. Trinidad & Tobago
5. Aruba

We are working to find out why not all the votes are being counted, and will adjust the voting totals to reflect the actual votes once the issue has been fixed.  Only countries with "&" in their name appear to be effected.
