Aight V...I retracted my statement...my bad...I thought It was his site. I just prefer to see folks like you, CE, Sandra and Rog in the lead as apposed to a Site owner. If the good brother is also a member...it all fun.

Actually, when we had more people posting on the site, the combined effort of other members would almost always outvote me and whatever flag I might be voting for.  In a few months, I expect that to be true again.

If I won the competition consistently, I would agree with you and exempt myself from the competition, but if you look at past battles, I think the flag I was voting for won only twice, once in September 2003 (the first battle, with the Pirate flag winning with 10 votes) and April 2004 where the Pirate Flag won again, that time with 215 votes.  It should be noted in April 2004, I was not the only one voting for the Pirate Flag, so if it were my votes alone, the Pirate Flag would not have won.

Since then, the flag I was voting for has never won a battle. 

And it was never my intention to win battles, but rather spur some competition.  I would rather have someone else win, but with me posting, that gives people someone to compete against. 

Votes are actually given based on activities we want to promote on the site.  For example, we want to encourage people to visit everyday, so you get votes for that, and we want people to post in the forums and add recipes, so we give votes for that.  It is actually structured to encourage activity on the site.
