I gift when I can afford to. I decide on how close the person is to me - or how dear, I should say. I've never re-gifted, I think it's okay to do so.

I like meaningful gifting ... and I never regift although I think that I should ... just does not feel right to me ... I would not buy for anyone what I would not buy for myself ... I do not allow myself to be preassured to gift either ... love surprising and treats ...

Sometimes you buy them what you think they like and they maybe have it already, CE. What sort of person would pressure another to buy them a gift, eh?

A greedy and manipulative one Sandy ... I've had an individual tell me she will buy me a gift if I do the same for her ... says a lot about character and let her know that gifts of this nature does not interest me ... imagine ...

I get you, CE. A co-worker once asked me if I exchanged gifts. When I told her no, she said, "Oh, I was going to give you a Christmas gift." Well I never did get the gift.

If I know what the person like to have for gift(not expensive) I can buy it.
