Strange ... I feel kinda uncomfortable with the recognition part although I do understand and appreciate the gesture ... my pleasure is the act itself in my contribution and witnessing the joy in others ... that is priceless ...

... ... humility is very important to our family Roggy ... we detest arrogance and extreme indulgences and all the postering ... actually I find it quite petty and lacks substance ... it is how I was raised and what I teach my children ... it has served us well so far ...

I don't like hypocrite people, judgmental people, envious people or people who put on 'airs'. I'm not into material things, i.e. fancy cars, big houses, etc. I'm a simple person and those things don't impress me.

Yep..Sandy !! I still admire my parents....Dad working ..Mom staying home....raise the children...with to meals for lunch...(you had the choice) and gave us the right education ..what I brought over to my kids and grandkids.
Showing us the two ways in life...the good and the bad...you can make your choice..it was upto you...!!!
That is something I will never forget....
When I was at a very young age...I always thought that when my Mom dies I will get crazy...and at the age I was..when she died...and saw here in the coffin/casket...like she was sleeping....all what came in my head at that moment...woke me up...and brought me to the reality of life !!
I said to myself...She had work so hard(housewife the best and the most unpayable profession)...for us...and thanks to her...we know what is the meaning of life...and still...I was asking myself **Is this life..? Is this what we are living for?**
And that moment has changed alot in me...And I have changed in many aspect.
A sad story maybe...but this is what i never ever can't forget...For me this is the memories I will cherish. Specially when I feel *down*
