Does anyone ever experience an urban rumor running around..Then suddenly one day you found out that it is true??

Well, this happened to me last friday..

Here in the Philippines, some news people, made a documentary report on the illegal selling of internal organs.. And the Filipinos became aware of this horrible reality of how hard it is to earn money for living..

And the government, have passed a bill on law prohibiting this illegal selling of internal organs...

And after this incident, some urban rumors started, that kids aging 7 to 20 years of age are being kidnapped. Some were returned killed and some were alive but without internal organs..

This rumor have been talked of the town for 2 years now..

Then last friday morning.. the vicinity of the town where i work have been horrified of the incident that had happened, Thursday afternoon, after dismissal of the morning class of elementary students..some men tried to kidnap a boy.. the mother tried to protect her child. But the bad men shot the mother and kidnapped the boy...A few hours after the kidnapping, the child were returned to the spot were he is taken.. Lifeless and internal were taken out from the body... 25k Php inserted into the stomach and letter stating an apology, that they were only payed to do the horrible thing...

Oh, how i was horrified and suddenly take an under time work that day just to checked and inform my kids and the people here in our house of the horrible news..and to be careful and alert...

@Annalyn

You can read the news.... You can see on TV...But when it comes/gets in you  ..like  OMG...my kids  or  my family.....then you get  this strange feelings  inside of your body... and  you wish  you can get  those evil people doing  evil things and do what  you wish to do with them...

But Let's hope they catched them ......

that's sad..
i wonder how those people feel after doing horrible things..dont they have a family???aren't they scared that their family will suffer the karma of what they are doing..
for the sake of money they are able to take lives of innocent and helpless people...

I don't know, I think they don't believe in karma or even don't know that something like that exists. I studied a little a psychology of these people back at school and they don't function like we do. they have another structure of mind processes, many of them don't have conscience or compunction. sometimes they came from broken family, sometimes not. very difficult field.

years before I was thinking that human can't do this and that. but then I read book from Tvrtko Vujity (try to google him - great man!) about Rwanda genocide and there was story of man who had to kill his parents-in-law to save his family (kids and wife). everyone was beggin him to do it, even those parents-in-law. so he shot for the first time and then something happened in his mind and started to shoot like crazy. there was another story. Hutu mother was pregnant with Tutsi father, they had two kids. she killed her husband, two kids and then tore her belly with knife to kill her "unclean" baby - and of course, she died.
does this need any further comments?
Peace out

Roggy...these people or  those  people...are very weak of faith and hope.
That's  the enemy tricks....the enemy  comes just to steel  to kill and  to destroy.
Sometimes you see good  people become something else that  you cann't understand  why?
But ...sometimes situation pushing you down and when you get on your knees...that is the exact position and  the  exact moment to ...pray and to worship God.
I will leave the rest  for some other posts  or  topics...
