Battle of the Islands!

A little friendly competition to see who can vote their flag to the top!

The rules are simple. Every month we will create a new poll in which you can vote for which flag you want to appear on top. You can vote as often as you want using the form above and at the end of the month, we will declare a winner. The winning flag will fly high above everyone else's for one month, during which time, people will vote for the following month.

The results of this poll will determine who's flag will fly high on the http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/battle.asp - Battle of the Flags page for the month of November.

Don't forget to "vote early and vote often!" And tell your friends so they can vote too!

And don't forget, you CAN vote as often as you want!  Show your spirit, vote for your country many many times!

Note:  You MUST be logged in and use the form above to vote.  Voting or inflating the number of votes by any other method is not allowed.  You may NOT use any scripts of any kind to vote.  Anyone caught using a script will be temporarily banned.  Repeated abuses will result in a permanent ban.

You must be logged in to vote!

Due to abuse by a few people using scripts that overloaded or server, we will now require that you register for a free account on CaribbeanChoice.com to vote.

Also note that your vote will NOT be counted if you use the "refresh" or "reload" button on your web browser (even though it says it was counted).

Belizexp,  Go!    Go!   Go!  I must cheer you on, I am convince that at the rate that you are going you will not only demolish all the old records, but create news ones as well.

I guess most voters simply gave up since Belize is so far ahead.  But the month is not over yet, and someone could come up from behind a trip up some of BelizeXP's intentions.

It's obvious that belizexp is determined and is probably going for four different trophies this month:

  1. Win the battle for October by having the most votes for Belize
  2. Win the battle for October by having the most votes personally
  3. Become an all time top voter since we started recording individual votes
  4. Have Belize set the world record for percentage of votes in one month

Plus he's going to move Belize up a few spaces in the All-Time Leaders list as well!

I'm surprised the Netherlands Antilles isn't more active.  They stand to be displaced as world record holder for percentage of votes in a single month.  Right now Belize has 96% and the Netherlands Antilles' previous record was just shy of 92%.  If the Netherlands Antilles wants to keep their record, they better start voting now!

It should be an interesting rest of the month to see if anyone steps up to challenge belizexp, or if the trophies have already been all but won.

Scott, If he belizexp has voted 15 times, Would it be correct to say that he has averaged the most votes for each sitting.

Well, you are now the all time top voter (since we started counting) pushing scrolljoe down to send all-time voter.

http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/topvoters.asp - http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/topvoters.asp

Belize is now almost in 3rd place for All-Time Leaders as well.

Not sure.  Scrolljoe might have beat him on that.  Scrolljoe voted pretty heavily in previous months.  I have no way to compare since I haven't been tracking that.

LOL!

I think that would be hard to do.  But with a group effort, I'm sure it is possible.  I think when Netherlands Antilles made their world records, they had a dozen people voting at the same time at times.

Well, Belize has just knocked Barbados down one spot on the All-Time Leaders list.

http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/battle-all-time.asp - http://www.caribbeanchoice.com/battle-all-time.asp

That page is updated at the end of the month, but you can see that if you add up Belize's votes from this month and previous months, it beats Barbados' total number of votes.  That will move Belize from 13th place to 3rd place!  Barbados will drop 1 spot to 4th, Netherlands Antilles will drop one spot to 5th, and Montserrat will drop off out of the top 5.

Unless Barbados steps in the last minute to challenge Belize.  But with only a couple days left, Belize may have already won.
