Well, the other funny post about someone chatting in the toilet inspired me to ask.
So are you saying that you chat on your home phone while in the toilet?

I know of someone who was sitting on the throne chatting with a friend of mine. My friend told me that she heard a sound and asked the person what that noise was. The person told her that she was making a bowel movement. Ugh! how gross!!!

If i am in the house alone i take the house phone (which had 3 lines, Vonage etc.) and my cel phone because, it may ring just when you go to the bath room. I nearly hurt myself before ,driping water on the tiles and sliding in it .

When I was traveling, I was amazed at the number of people talking on their cell phone... in the public restroom! It had to be obvious to the person on the other end that they were in the toilet, with people going in and out and flushing and using the sinks and hand dryers and such.
And they are just chatting away like its nothing.

I consider using the toilet personal, and private. I don’t like the idea, I have friends who does it to me and as soon as I realize where they are the conversation is over.
Do we really need to be that connected? I feel I don’t need it. We do not even memorize name or numbers anymore, CC family the Brain cells are dying.

Our last area of real privacy ... please stay away ... I will not take any call while in the toilet or while having dinner or in deep conversation with my kids ... it just has to wait ... personally, I do not wish to be connected 24/7 ... I enjoy my quiet time and come to expect it ...

I have used it several times but not for calling, only texting.
I don't like my mobile phone and to be ready to answer it
e.g. at weekends I leave it in another room and don't care
