Aerolyon from Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Toulouse. Air France also has direct flights from Cayenne, Caracas, Miami, Pointe-à-Pitre, Port-au-Prince. Ask Air France for youth fares if under 26, or for seasonal prices. Nouvelles Frontières has charter flights from France. Air Guadeloupe has afternoon flights from San Juan, so same-day connections are possible from the USA. Air Guadeloupe flies from Miami. Local airlines include Air Guadeloupe which flies from Barbados, Canouan, Dominica, Guadeloupe, St Lucia, St Maarten, St-Martin, St Vincent and Union Island, Port-au-Prince, San Juan, Santo Domingo. Anchorages:

The facilities are among the best in the Caribbean. Anchorages at St-Pierre, Fort-de-France, Anse Mitan, Les Trois-Ilets, Anse Noir, Grand and Petit Anse d'Arlets, Ste-Anne, Cul-de-Sac Marin. Marinas at Fort-de-France, Les Trois-Ilets, Le Marin. The marina at Pointe du Bout is reported safe, but congested and hot.
