1 kg. whole chicken
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sake (Japanese wine) grapefruit juice
1 tsp. Grace Granulated Sugar
1 tsp. fresh ginger root
1/4 cup Grace Corn Oil
METHOD / DIRECTIONS:
- Cut up chicken.
- Mix together soy sauce, sake/grapefruit juice/ dry sherry, granulated sugar and grated ginger in a large shallow dish.
- Add chicken, turning to coat both sides.Cover and marinate in refrigerator for several hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
- Remove chicken from marinade and brush with oil.
- Grill about 15 minutes from source of heat, brushing with marinade and turning frequently until brown and tender.
