La Soufriere Volcano:
The very popular Volcano makes for a very interesting expedition. Situated
on the east coast of the island, a three plus miles hike takes you through
acres and acres of banana and coconut plantation before coming face to face
with this volcano that is so much a part of the island’s history.
Baleine Falls:
This beautiful creation of nature is a thing of beauty to see. The water
falls into a wonderful pool at the end of the 60-foot drop. Take a dip in the
cool water and be refreshed after and interesting walk to get there.
Vermont Nature Trails:
Nature lovers would simply love this tour. A trail that takes you deep
into the rainforest to experience first hand the wonders of nature. This
trail is filled with boundless exotic fauna, humming birds and many other
life forms.
Other Sites of Interest:
Rebecca Dry River:
The Rebecca Dry River is the result of ash from the 1902 eruption of the
Soufriere volcano.
Black Point Tunnel:
Slaves who were under British rule constructed this tunnel in 1815.
Owia Salt Pond:
This is an interesting 2-hour drive to a very interesting place.
