There are over 400 species of birds in Trinidad and over 200 species in Tobago. There are a variety of habitats for migrant birds from the north and south. Birds like Scarlet ibis, Black skimmer, Osprey, Black-billed whistling duck, Trogon Yellow - headed Parrot, Silver- beaked Tanager, Tucan , Red- bellied Macaw, Savannah Hawk, Trinidad - Piping Guan Oilbird , Ornate- Hawk- Eagle, Bell Bird, Tuffedted Coquette and the
Yellow-headed Caracara.
Tobago has the White- tailed Saberwing, Red- billed Tropic Bird, Red-footed Booby,
Blue-crowned Motmot, Blue-backed Manakin and Rufous-vented Chachalaca. These birds will not only excite you, but will open new areas of knowledge that you were totally unaware of.
